Timber is a red male bloodhound, approximate age 6 months. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccination, heartworm negative and healthy. He has a good disposition with adults, older children, and other large dogs. He is too rough & rowdy in his play to go to a home with small dogs or cats. However, he is protective of his toys and food, growling at other dogs when they get near either of them. For this reason, we do not feel Timber will be a good candidate for a home with very small children. He may well grow into a dominant male so should probably go to a home with an experienced bloodhound owner. He is housebroken, provided he has access to the yard when he needs to potty. He is learning to walk on a leash. Timber is fostered in Birmingham, AL. |
