Rufus is a 7 year old  male red tick coonhound, who is healthy, has been neutered, and is up to date on vaccinations.  He’s a happy older guy who has a touch of arthritis, but he doesn’t let that interfere with his sweet disposition.  He’s a typical old snoozy bloodhound who would make a great companion for anyone.  He loves children, all adults, cats, and other dogs.  He doesn’t have a strong prey instinct, and prefers to leave that to dogs who want to chase after those critters.  He’s not totally housebroken, but he won’t go potty in the room where he sleeps at night.  He’s not crate trained, but Rufus is easy, and would probably take to it easily.  He does come when he’s called, and he isn’t a chewer.  He doesn’t have any temperament issues, and is just a happy sweet old boy!  He’s being fostered near Murphy, NC.  Contact Lynn at hw28906@cabletvonline.net or Julie at nelsonj_2008@yahoo.com (706-897-5523).
