Pecan is a female
bloodhound, approximate age 5-6 years. She was turned over to an
animal control unit after being bred nearly to death. When she
entered foster care she was very depressed and underweight with
severe skin problems. Following several months of foster care,
Pecan has blossomed into a very young, middle-aged girl who loves
life. She is a very quiet girl who stays out from underfoot. She
is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and
healthy. She is housebroken and completely non-destructive
indoors. She is great with people of all ages and absolutely loves
children. She is good with other dogs and cats, too, but prefers to
lounge around on the couch or go for a ride in the car. She does
have a mild thyroid problem which requires medication each day.
However, her medication is very inexpensive (about $10 per month).
Pecan is fostered in Florida. |
