Norman is about 1 year old; he came into our rescue program in mid February 06 with his 2 sisters who have been adopted. Norman’s mother was a Bloodhound but we have no idea what breed of the dog the father was. He is on the small side weighing about 70 pounds and coming up to your knee. Norman is a wonderful puppy; he is very smart and loving. Completely crate trained, housetrained, walking well on leash and learning some basic commands, he has mastered “sit” Norman currently lives in a busy household with many other animals and does fine with other dogs but NOT cats. He is neither dominant nor submissive; he seems to fit in the middle somewhere and is very easy going. He is still destructive inside if left unsupervised and needs to be crated for his own safety. He will chew things which may not be for his chewing enjoyment! We do not want to see him go to an outdoor only home since he has been raised in an indoor/outdoor setting and is used to being inside. Norm has completed his baby series of inoculations, is current on rabies, neutered and parasite free. His adoption donation has been reduced to $150.00 to cover these medical costs only since he is not a purebred Bloodhound. Please consider Norman if you have the time and energy for an active young dog! Norman is located outside Atlanta Georgia and it will be the adopting parent’s responsibility to arrange his transport. We will do a homecheck even if you are not in the local area, please fill out our adoption application completely. |
