Jake is a purebred, red, male bloodhound, approximate age 10-12 months.  He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and healthy.  He has a good disposition with adults, children, other dogs, cats and horses.  He is not food protective, but gets VERY excited when he sees his food coming and can get bit obnoxious with impatience before you can actually put it down for him to eat.  His foster parents are working on this behavior.  He is learning to SIT before his is fed and to get his leash attached for a walk.  He likes to 'sing' outdoors when it gets dark, but usually settles down around 9:00 p.m. for sleep.  He would do better in a home where he sleeps indoors.  He loves to be petted and touched.  His leash training is going very good and he is not pulling so much when being walked.  He wants badly to be an indoor dog and is being housebroken.  Jake is fostered in MO near the western TN border.
