Cayenne is a redbone coonhound who made the mistake of allowing her owner's purebred black & tan bloodhound to climb into her pen when she was in season and get her pregnant. She was then tossed out with the trash. She is a lovely girl with great manners and loves her people. She does great with adults and children. She simply ignores other dogs (except, of course, around her 3-4 week old puppies of whom she is very protective right now). She is housebroken and very clean. She does love to run so needs a large fenced yard. She needs to find a family who appreciates her. She is up-to-date on vaccinations and will be spayed in early to mid-July. She rides well in a car and loves to go for walks. Cayenne is fostered near Charlotte, NC. Cayenne has five half bloodhound, half redbone coonhound puppies who are approaching 4 weeks old. We have pictures of them at 3 weeks and will provide more in another week or two. There are two black & tans and three red puppies. Four male and one female, I believe. The puppiess will be available for adoption in mid-July. The pups are currently fostered near Charlotte NC. They will be moving to individual foster homes in July. |
