Carrie Ann is a purebred, black & tan bloodhound, though her black saddle is very 'washed out' so she is almost red in color. The vet estimated her age at around 18 months. She is scheduled to be spayed, brought up-to-date on vaccinations and is healthy. She is very mildly heartworm positive and the vet has put her on prevention as a treatment. She has a great disposition with people and other dogs. She has absolutely no interest in cats, birds or squirrels. However, she is not good with small livestock (goat kids, specifically). She is slightly overweight, but not a big eater. She is very laid back and easy going, content to be crated all day while her people are working. She is uncomfortable around men and will show you her teeth if cornered by a man. She has horrible leash manners and will charge any open door to get into the house, so will need ongoing corrective training. Carrie Ann is fostered in central Florida. |
