Bullwinkle is black & tan male bloodhound, approximate age 18-24 months.  He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and healthy.  He is still very thin, but that will change with time and TLC.  He has a good disposition with adults, older children and other dogs.  He is food protective, though, so should be fed away from other dogs.  He may 'outgrow' this trait once he learns that food is readily available, but he may not.  He is very skittish about loud noises, so he is not a good candidate for a home with younger, loud or boisterous children.  He has not been around cats so his disposition with them is currently unknown.  He is very gentle and loving, seeking out human companionship.  He is housebroken and non-destructive indoors.  He is also a great watchdog as he barks at anyone pulling into the driveway and/or touching the mailbox, etc.  He is not an indiscriminant barker, though.  He knows not to jump on people in greeting and appears to have been someone's pet earlier in his life.  Bullwinkle is fostered in Greensboro NC.
